What is the best age for a newborn photoshoot?

The ideal age for newborn photography is between 5 and 14 days old, but I also regularly photograph babies that are older. The only considerations are that some poses are not possible as babies get older and less flexible.

Also as they will be less sleepy, there is less chance of them not sleeping during their newborn photoshoot.

My newborn photoshoots are held in my beautiful and comfortable studio in Woolston, Southampton.
