Today I want to talk to the mums

Updated: Mar 7, 2021

I don’t know about you, but from the moment I became a mum that has been my primary role. A role that is all-consuming most of the time. I've found that I now come at the bottom of the priority list and run the risk of losing sight of the woman I am. Can you relate? We end up taking family snaps on our phone don't we, and rarely do we appear in them.

Over the last few months I’ve been encouraging mums to step into a photo with their children during photo sessions, because I think it’s important to have these memories for our children to look back on in years to come.

I get it and I am exactly the same! Read more about me here

If you're anything like me, I worry about my flaws and looking awkward. But the reality is that our children do not see our perceived flaws.. Actually, we are probably the only one who sees our flaws.

When I work with someone on a 1-1 basis, it feels just like we are going for a walk somewhere beautiful. I do the research and know that the location will give us great photos and trust me, the feeling you get when you get wonderful natural photos is fantastic. It’s truly confidence-building.

You know my style by now. I keep posing to a minimum, preferring a natural style of photography and half the time you aren’t even aware that I’m taking photos.

It's time to invest in you and have some well earned ‘me’ time. Let's capture special memories that you and your children will cherish in years to come. I have a few locations that work well depending on the time of year. Maybe ask someone to treat you to a gift voucher for Christmas?

I'd love to hear from you.
